Please read these terms and conditions of use ("Terms and Conditions") carefully as it is a legally binding agreement between you and Kao (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“The Organizer”).

The Merries Family Club website (https://www.merriesfamily.com.my) is developed and owned by Merries Malaysia brand under Kao (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

Merries Family Club Loyalty Program

Merries Family Club is a loyalty program for our beloved customers – Merries mummies and daddies which allows Merries Malaysia to reward you with member-exclusive benefits when you sign up as Merries Family Member. Merries Family Club that offers Rewards Program and Referral Program is the loyalty program organized by Merries Malaysia. This loyalty program is open to all individual legal residents of Malaysia (inclusive of Sabah & Sarawak) aged 18 years and above.

By joining Merries Family Club, you are subject to the “Terms and Conditions” of this program. The Rewards program allows family members to accumulate Merries Coins from purchase of Merries products only.
By registering as a family member, you are deemed to have read and understood the “Terms and Conditions” of the loyalty program and have given consent to “The Organizer” in processing customer’s personal data and disclosure to third party who is providing services to “The Organizer” for the purpose of this program. “The Organizer” has the discretion to amend the loyalty program rules and offerings.
“The Organizer” reserves the right to amend/terminate the program with/without prior notice. “The Organizer” shall communicate to members in one or more of the following manner whichever way deems necessary i.e. phone call, SMS, email, letter or WhatsApp.

How to sign up as Merries Family Club member?

Visit Merries Family Club website at https://www.merriesfamily.com.my
Sign Up as member with valid Email Address.
Fill in your personal details – Name*, Mobile Number*, Password*, D.O.B*, Race* and other information (Optional) i.e. Home address, Baby’s D.O.B, Diaper size etc.

*Mandatory fields to fill in for quick sign-up, the rest of the fields are optional.
Click ‘Sign Up’ and enter the OTP received to complete the registration.

Important Notes:

Family members whom provided info only for the mandatory fields at the point of sign-up are eligible to upload receipts, redeem Merries Coins, request for free samples and Referral Program but not eligible for Rewards Program.
Family members are required to complete account by providing full information to be eligible for Merries Rewards Program and future exclusive member activities.

You will be able to change/update your full personal details at ‘Profile’ page > click ‘More’ > click ‘Personal Details’ > Fill in all the personal details accordingly and click ‘Save’.

Welcome Rewards for Successful Sign-up:

You will be entitled to earn 50 Welcome Merries Coins upon successful sign-up.

Merries Rewards

Merries Rewards allows family members to earn and accumulate Merries Coins when you purchase Merries product(s). This Rewards program is only available for purchases made at retail outlets or online Merries Official Stores in Malaysia.

For every RM1 spent on Merries product(s), you will be rewarded 1 Merries Coins.
For retail purchases (inclusive of GST) between RM1.00 to RM1.99, 2 Merries Coins will be awarded.
Coins will be awarded based on the total amount after discount, shipping fee charges, Shopee Coins, LazCoins, vouchers and cashback on the submitted receipt / online invoice / purchase record.
All Merries products distributed by “The Organizer” are eligible for this Merries Rewards Program, namely Merries Super Premium Tape and Merries Super Premium Pants.
Participating products may change from time to time at the discretion of “The Organizer” and shall be updated timely on Merries Family Club website.
Receipts must be submitted within 90 days from the date of purchase, otherwise will be treated as invalid.

[Validity Period of Receipt: 3 months / 90 days]

Only official receipts received from offline retailers or online invoices / purchase records from e-commerce retailers are considered as valid and accepted as valid proof of purchase for Merries Coins redemption.
Only official receipts or online invoices / purchase records dated from 15th August 2022 and onwards are considered as valid for Merries Coins redemption.
Receipts of the below are deemed as invalid and will be rejected for Merries Coins redemption:
- Without “Merries” brand name indicated or printed on receipt
- Handwritten receipt or bill
- Receipts of other diaper brands’ or other items’ purchase instead of Merries products
Same receipt but uploaded the second time by another family member
Pictures of diaper packs without valid receipts / online invoices / purchase records are considered as invalid and will not be accepted for Merries Coins redemption.
Each official receipt or online invoice / purchase record can only be uploaded by 1 family member. “The Organizer” reserves the right to reject the second receipt submission or withdraw the Merries Coins given if the same receipt is found to be uploaded by different family member.
If the official receipt is too long to fit into a photo, you are allowed to fold the receipt and ensure the store name, date of receipt, receipt no. and items purchased can be clearly seen.

How to redeem Merries Coins?

Visit Merries Family Club website at https://www.merriesfamily.com.my or Enter the Merries Family Club Web App added to mobile home screen.
Log In with Email Address.
Go to ‘Upload’ tab > ‘Upload Receipt’ to upload your proof of purchase*

*Only valid official receipts or online invoices / purchase records are accepted.
Please allow 5 – 7 working days for verification of receipts / online invoices / purchase records and awarding of Merries Coins into your account. You will be able to check submission status in the ‘Upload’ tab > ‘Check Receipt Submission status’ page.
Accumulate Merries Coins to redeem your favourite items from Rewards catalogue.

*Duplicate receipts or online invoices / purchase records submitted by the same or different members will be rejected.

*Image of receipts or online invoices / purchase records should be within 2MB file size.

*Ensure clear image of receipt or online invoice / purchase record is submitted, in case of any blurry or unclear image submitted, it will be deemed as invalid/illegible and Merries reserves the right to reject the submission.

How to redeem items from Rewards Catalogue?

Visit Merries Family Club website at https://www.merriesfamily.com.my or Enter the Merries Family Club Web App added to mobile home screen.
Log In with Email Address.
Go to ‘Rewards’ tab and Select your preferred item from the list.
Click ‘Submit Redemption Form'.
Fill in the details in the Redemption form and click ‘Submit’.
Your redemption will be processed accordingly and delivery of redemption item will take 4 to 6 working weeks from the date a completed redemption form is successfully submitted.

The reward point namely Merries Coins can be accumulated by uploading the proof of purchase – either official receipt or online invoice / purchase record on the participating Merries product(s).
Participating products in this loyalty program are Merries Super Premium Tape and Merries Super Premium Pants. Participating products may change from time to time at the discretion of “The Organizer” and shall be updated timely on Merries Family Club website.
Merries Coins can only be rewarded once the submitted receipts / online invoices / purchase records successfully checked and verified by “The Organizer”. Successful Merries Coins with valid proof of purchase will only be updated in member’s account within 5 – 7 working days.
Merries Coins will be valid for 12 - 18 months upon being awarded and there are 2 rounds of Coins expiry dates cut-off in every calendar:

“The Organizer” reserves the right to change/amend Merries Coins tagged to participating product(s) without prior notice.
Family member is entitled to redeem items from catalogue prepared by “The Organizer” if family member owns sufficient Merries Coins to redeem that particular item.
Family member is free to select any item from Rewards Catalogue page at Merries Family Club website https://www.merriesfamily.com.my . All the items shown on Rewards Catalogue page are well indicated with Merries Coins required to redeem. Family members must accumulate sufficient Merries Coins in order to redeem the selected item with required Merries Coins shown.
One family member will have one membership and no transfer of Merries Coins or sharing and polling of Merries Coins with another family member is allowed.
All redemption items will be delivered to address provided in the redemption submission form.
All digital e-vouchers / voucher codes will be shown on the redemption page once member redeemed & used. Member may copy the e-voucher code and redeem at respective online retailer platform – Shopee or Lazada. Member may also go to ‘Rewards’ tab > History to retrieve the e-voucher code redeemed.
All redemption submitted by members cannot be exchanged, changed, cancelled or returned after successful submission. Family members are advised to submit your own redemption as redemption submitted by any individual other than member himself/herself will not be entertained.
“The Organizer” will not be responsible for any wrong delivery if the information – delivery address, email address or mobile number provided by member is incorrect.
Redemption with incomplete data or delivery address and / or without correct contact number and / or email address will not be processed.
Digital e-voucher / voucher code is applicable for ONE (1) time use per redemption and for ONE (1) transaction only. Their usage is subject to the issuer’s / provider’s Terms and Conditions. They cannot be combined or accumulated.
All redemption items which have a variety of colours will be selected and delivered on random basis, unless specified in the catalogue.

Actual product or colour of the redemption item may vary from the images shown.
All redemption items delivered do not include accessories, unless specified in the catalogue.
Delivery of redemption item will take 4 to 6 working weeks from the date a completed redemption form is successfully submitted. It will also be subjected to stock availability.
Members are advised to examine the redemption items upon receipt. Should you find the good(s) received are faulty, damaged, and / or defective, you are advised to drop us your message at MY Merries Facebook inbox or contact our Kao Careline at 1-800-88-4588 or email us at kaocare@kao.com.my (Mon to Fri, 9am – 5pm) within 24 hours from date of receipt to lodge a report AND to return the good(s) immediately in the original packaging within 1 week to Kao Malaysia’s office at members’ own cost.
All redemption items are subject to availability.
This is the official Rewards redemption site of Merries Family Club Rewards Program from 15th August 2022 onwards. “The Organizer” has the sole discretion to amend / update the redemption items with/without prior notice.
“The Organizer” reserves the right to discontinue any participating Merries products and / or any redemption item and substitute it with a similar item of equal value for redemption at any time without prior notice.
“The Organizer” reserves the right to reject any redemption or request for proof of purchase to clarify further info and / or validate the authenticity of the purchase made if “The Organizer” has any reason to suspect the Merries Coins were fraudulently accumulated by members or wrongly recorded.

Referral Program to Earn More Merries Coins!

Merries family members can always refer to their friend or peer whom is not a Merries Family Club member yet to sign up as a member.

How to participate in Referral Program to redeem Merries Coins?

Go to Home > Earn More Merries Coins > ‘Refer to Your Friends Now!’; OR

Click the Menu Bar at top right corner > click Refer a Friend > click the button ‘Refer to Your Friends Now” > Copy your “Referral Code”
Existing member “Referrer” may share your “Referral Code” to your friend whom you wish to invite to join Merries Family Club.
Friend of whom you invite must key in the “Referral Code” shared by you at the signup page upon signing up as a new Merries Family Club member. If fails to do so, you will not be able to be eligible for any Merries Coins awarded from this Referral Program.
Upon successful registration of new member, existing member as “Referrer” will earn 30 Merries Coins.

A successful referral works as below:

1. You must be a valid registered Merries Family Club member.
2. Friend of whom you wish to invite is a non Merries Family Club member and / or does not own any membership account with Merries Family Club prior to joining the Referral Program.

New member “Referee” can only use the given “Referral Code” ONCE. In the case of new member receives several “Referral Code” provided by multiple existing members “Referrer”, only the “Referral Code” given by specific existing member entered at the point of signing up will be considered as valid and only that particular member “Referrer” will be awarded with Merries Coins from this Referral Program.
“The Organizer” reserves the right to disqualify or prohibit a person from participating in “Referral Program” in the event there is suspicion that the participation violates the “Terms and Conditions” or disqualify entries of the following:

1. unclear, incomplete, duplicate, copies, illegible or incorrect entries; and/or
2. found to be under fraud, cheating or deception

Personal Information and Privacy Policy

By participating in the “Merries Family Club Loyalty Program”, your consent for “The Organizer” and any of its holding, subsidiary or related companies as defined in the Companies Act 2016 (“Kao Group”) and service providers, agents and contractors who provide administrative and business support to us and act on our behalf (“Authorized Third Parties”) (collectively “The Organizer”, “us”, “we” or “our", as the case may be) to process your personal information provided for purposes of the “Merries Family Club Loyalty Program”. This includes disclosing your name to the general public if you are a member of this loyalty program or participate in our events by publishing your name, photographs and other personal information without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes.
“The Organizer” may also use your personal information for purposes of contacting and sending to you marketing and promotional information or materials about our products, services, samples, any promotions, events or campaigns organized by “The Organizer”. Please contact us if you disagree to the use of your personal information for this purpose.
“The Organizer” may use a registered member’s entry including without limitation, photos, drawings, text, and any other content or information submitted for purposes of the loyalty program (collectively the “Materials”), and the member’s name, and/or likeness, for advertising, publicity and promotion of any goods or services of “The Organizer”, for an unlimited time throughout the world without compensation, and in any media. The Member shall do all things necessary to give effect to this if requested by “The Organizer”.
In the event that you agree to share and disclose personal information of a person whom you intend to refer to “The Organizer”, you acknowledge that you have obtained the consent of that person to share and disclose his/her personal information to us and to being contacted by us.
In respect of minors or individuals not legally competent to give consent, you confirm that they have appointed you to act for them and, to consent on their behalf to the processing of their personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and that you have the necessary legal capacity under the applicable laws to so act for them and consent on their behalf.
At times “The Organizer” may retain Authorized Third Parties to process your personal information. All such Authorized Third Parties are contractually bound to take reasonable measures to keep information secure and not to use your personal information in any way other than that which is specified here and in our privacy policy at http://www.kao.com/my/privacy/.
“The Organizer” is a global company and your personal information may be transferred across borders. “The Organizer” will ensure that the country your data is transferred to has a similar or equivalent personal information protection laws in place, as set out in our privacy policy at http://www.kao.com/my/privacy/.
To the extent that the applicable law allows, you have the right to request for access to, request for a copy of, request to update or correct, your personal information held by us.
